Network TAP Load Balance for Network Monitor and Analysis System Application
What does Network Analysis System work?
Network Analysis System is a portable network analysis system, support wired and wireless network capture packet analysis, very convenient for network management personnel to install and deploy.Help network management personnel in various network problems, quickly and accurately find the root of the problem.It decodes, detects, analyzes and diagnoses all packets transmitted in the network, and helps network administrators eliminate network accidents, avoid security risks, improve network performance and increase network availability value.
Quickly find and troubleshoot network faults;
- Find network bottleneck to improve network performance;
- Find and solve various network abnormal crisis, improve security;
- Manage resources, count and record the traffic and bandwidth of each node;
- Regulate the network, view the connection of various applications, services and hosts, monitor the network activities;
- Manage network applications.
Does the user have Network Analysis Pain Points?
When the user network upgrade to 10G, 25G, 40G or higher bandwidth, the Network Monitoring and Analysis equipment (audit / IDS / APM / NPM) how to monitor?
Customer Case & Solution
1 unit of 40g aggregator with MPO (SR4) multimode interface and 10G output
4 port of 40G Passive taps with MPO (SR4) multimode interface
As the total utilization at this moment is just only 10% of the total link capacity, I only need the aggregation capability of the packet broker. The output of the aggregator must be only 10G as the capacity enabled on the LiveCapture Appliance on only 10G. they will just upgrade the interface if the total traffic exceed 10G. The 4 ports are from the 40G switches they are connected redundant to each other. So I need at least 8 ports of 40G passive tap to inset on that network. The output of the 40G passive taps will be connected to the packet broker (40G interface). The PacketBroker will push the traffic to 10GE output which will be connected to the Network Monitoring Appliance (LiveCapture) 10G, I need atleast 2 x 10G ports. It will be created this set up as the existing budget will not be enough to cover the full 40G monitoring. They will invlest on a 10G Live Capture for now and will be upgraded once the traffic exceed 10G.
